WE RETURN SEPTEMBER 4th 2025!

Our Famous Pyrohy

A Tradition of Faith, Food, and Fellowship

If you're from the Pittsburgh area, you've probably heard the buzz—Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church is renowned for making some of the best pyrohy around. Handcrafted with care, seasoned with tradition, and prepared fresh weekly by our dedicated volunteers, our pyrohy aren’t just food—they’re a cherished part of local culture and a vital support for our parish.

What Are Pyrohy?

Pyrohy (also known as pierogi) are traditional Ukrainian dumplings filled with delightful ingredients like potato and cheese, sauerkraut, or sweet fillings. At Holy Trinity, we adhere to the time-honored recipes and preparation methods that have been passed down through generations. Each dumpling is handmade, pinched, and cooked right in our kitchen.

We don’t cut corners—because we believe that something made with love just tastes better.

More Than Just a Meal

More Than Just a Meal

More Than Just a Meal

Our Pyrohy Project is not just a fundraiser; it stands as a cornerstone of our vibrant parish life. The proceeds from this initiative help support various parish ministries, maintain our building, enhance community outreach, and fund cultural events throughout the year. Additionally, it represents a heartfelt labor of love and fellowship. Every week, volunteers come together in the kitchen to make pyrohies, share laughter, swap stories, and preserve our rich Ukrainian heritage.

We always welcome new volunteers, and no experience is necessary—we’re here to teach you!
