A Tradition of Faith, Food, and Fellowship
If you're from the Pittsburgh area, you've probably heard the buzz—Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church makes some of the best pyrohy around. Handcrafted with care, seasoned with tradition, and made fresh weekly by our dedicated volunteers, our pyrohy aren’t just food—they’re a beloved part of local culture and a vital support for our parish.
Pyrohy (also spelled pierogi) are traditional Ukrainian dumplings filled with delicious ingredients like potato and cheese, sauerkraut, or sweet fillings. At Holy Trinity, we stick to the time-honored recipes and preparation methods passed down through generations. Each one is handmade, pinched, and cooked right in our kitchen.
We don’t cut corners—because we believe something made with love just tastes better.

Our Pyrohy Project is more than a fundraiser—it’s a cornerstone of our parish life. The proceeds help support parish ministries, building maintenance, community outreach, and cultural events throughout the year. But it’s also a labor of love and fellowship. Volunteers gather weekly in the kitchen to make, laugh, share stories, and keep our Ukrainian heritage alive.
New volunteers are always welcome, and no experience is needed—we’ll teach you!
Pre-orders are welcome and recommended—especially around holidays.
